The Čerchov is the highest elevation (1,042 m) in the Český les (western part of the Bohemian Forest, Böhmerwald) mountain region in the southwest of the Czech Republic.
A shack and a wooden lookout tower were built on the summit in 1897 [left, no.1918].
In 19041905 a new stone lookout tower (25 m high) was constructed [left, no.2471].
