Möttlingen is situated at an altitude of 535 m about 5 km east of Bad Liebenzell in the district Calw of Germany's state of Baden-Württemberg. Möttlingen is one of the seven quarters of the municipality of Bad Liebenzell.

The bible and pastoral home Rettungsarche [left] was founded in 1909. Between 1938 and 1948 it was used as a home for back immigrants and refugees, but was reopened for its pastoral use in 1948.
