3873 Teplice nad Bečvou Teplice nad Bečvou is situated at an elevation of 333 m on the left bank of the river Bečva, opposite the town of Hranice, about 27 km northeast of the district town Přerov. The municipality has a population of about 384 (2019) and consists of the localities Lázně Teplice nad Bečvou (formerly in German Bad Teplitz or Teplitz-Bad) and Zbrašov (Zbraschau or Sbraschau).

The earliest kown document mentioning Zbrašov dates from 1328. The thermal mineral springs near the river Bečva have been used for bathing purposes at least since the 16th century. The first bathing pool was built in 1553 by the owner of the domains of Hranice (Weißkirchen). A two-storey bathhouse was built in 1711. The next reports of a spa facility date from the late 18th century, when the spa was mentioned as Teplitz (1794) or Töplicza (1798). Until the end of the 19th century, the spa, which also had a whey spa, continued to grow. After the abolition of patrimonialism, Zbrašov in 1849 became an independent municipality in the district Mährisch Weißkirchen (Hranice), and Teplice was regarded as part of Zbrašov at least since 1881. In the 1920s new spa buildings were constructed in Lázně Teplice nad Bečvou. In 1930 the bath was taken over by the central administration of social security in Prague. Lázně Teplice nad Bečvou, as part of Zbrašov, obtained the official denominaton as a spa in 1957. In 1959, the name of the municipality was officially changed from Zbrašov to Teplice nad Bečvou. In 1975 Teplice nad Bečvou was merged into the municipality of Hranice but in 1990 again became an independent municipality. Today, the spa specialises in the treatment of heart diseases.

The chapel of St. Peregrine [left, no. 3873: left] was built in 1775 in Baroque style. It is listed as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic. The chapel is dedicated to Saint Peregrine Laziosi (c. 1260 – 1345). Canonised in 1729, Peregrine Laziosi is venerated as patron saint of persons suffering from cancer or other illnesses.

Other glasses in this collection show views of the much more famous spa town of Teplice in northwestern Bohemia.
